Spicy Smokey Sour (Whiskey)

Bright lemon, rich whiskey, and a touch of sweetness meet a dash of Gnarly Safari hot sauce for a smoky, lingering heat. Finished with bitters and optional froth, it’s a cocktail that’s as smooth as it is daring!

Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp Booty Island Spice Co. Mango, Peach, Habanero Hot Sauce

  • 1/2 oz egg white (optional for froth)

  • Dash of Angostura bitters

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients (except bitters) in a shaker.

  2. Dry shake (no ice) if using egg white, or proceed
    directly to add ice.

  3. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

  4. Top with a dash of Angostura bitters and garnish
    with a lemon twist.
